FYTOTEXTILE LIVING WALL SYSTEM
We have chosen to use Scotscape's Fytotextile Living Wall System.
Not only does it promote optimum plant health, it is the only Living Wall System which brings aeration to the root structure, encouraging healthy growth and enduring higher resistance to pests and disease.
The Fytotextile Living Wall System is light weight and can be fitted to both flat and curved surfaces.
It has a modular panel design constructed using the patented Fytotextile fabric.
Each square metre holds up to 49 plants in individual pockets and a drip line is incorporated into each panel to water the plants.

FLEX MSE
Our preferred retaining wall system is Flex MSE. It is a geo textile bag system comprising of two main components; bags and interlocking plates. Both components are made using 100% recycled material.
No concrete is required but the outcome is a retaining wall which is stronger than a traditional concrete, block wall.
It has a much longer lifespan than concrete walls and is a flexible more natural flood solution.
BIOCHAR
We love using Biochar, for many reasons.
Naturally fallen branches from native trees that contain carbon are burnt to produce a good quality charcoal which locks in the carbon which would have otherwise been released.
The Biochar is added to the soil to aid water retention, create more air pockets, aid drainage and lock in nutrients. Therefore producing healthier plants which in turn will suquest more carbon
It dramatically improves soil quality while reducing carbon.
